Ranga Rao (Nagababu) a widower, landlord, and well- respected man, loves his beloved daughter Mahalakshmi (Kajal Agarwal), a sweet, mature, innocent, and somewhat fun-loving girl who loves her father as much as he loves her, more than anything else. His brother also has a daughter Rani (Sindhu Menon) and a son (Satyam Rajesh). Rani is like a sister to Mahalakshmi and a second daughter to Ranga Rao. Rani is a hyper, whiny, talkative but fun-loving sweet girl. When Mahalakshmi returns from college, Ranga Rao is shocked to see how she has grown and decides to fix her marriage with Dhorababu (Shiva Balaji), an innocent, good-natured and rather shy boy(his character is supposed to be a lot like Maha's). After the engagement is fixed, however, Mahalakshmi reveals a shocking secret to Dhorababu. That in the city, she had fallen in love with Kishore (Navdeep), a mischievous and amiable youth(his character is supposed to be a lot like Rani's). He had cheated her and stated that he was not interested in marrying her. Mahalakshmi says that she did not want to lie and cheat Dhorababu, because she knows he is good and deserves better. Dhorababu goes to meet Kishore, where he learns it was all a prank and that Kishore really loves Mahalakshmi. He fakes an accident and brings Kishore to the village under the pretense of a doctor. Mahalakshmi forgives Kishore. Finding out the secret, Rani falls in love with Dhorababu and vice versa. They dare not tell anyone, however. Ranga Rao misunderstands their feelings and fixes Kishore's and Rani's marriage, to take place at he same time as Mahalakshmi's and Dhorababu's. The group decides the only way left is to elope, though Mahalakshmi has mixed feelings about this, as she feels it would hurt her father. At the last minute, Mahalakshmi cannot go through with it and tearfully confesses the truth to her father. Luckily, Ranga Rao understands and has the lovers marry.

Gowtham SSC movie
Story delivers a good message to youth. Gowtam (Navdeep) is youngest of three sons of Collector Shambhu Prasad. His wife is a professor, eldest son (Sizzu) is a doctor, second one (Sreenivasa Varma) is a businessman, and his daughters-in-law are also in a well-to-do status. But his last son fails to go beyond S.S.C.. Though Mr. Prasad ignores his son's small gaffes, he doesn't spare him when he comes to know that this brat forged his signature and he throws him out of house. A tutor (Sindhu), who teaches his brother's kids, takes him to her house. There, he gets inspired by the words of Bhanu (Bhanu Priya) and plunges himself into automobile repairing. He invents a carburettor that gives a mileage of 120km per liter and makes his brother as the patentee for his apparatus. He saves his eldest brother from a conspiracy of hospital management and also fixes marriage of his sister with her lover. In spite of doing all good to his family he never lets his father to know about these things as his father always wishes to see his third son as an I.A.S. officer. He strives for that and his love is also not informed of his efforts. Movie ends with sharing his triumph with his father..
